Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Active license as an Occupational Therapist.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and patients.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and evaluates treatment plans, goals and discharge plans for OT needs.
• Collaborates with physician to plan care and discharge.
• Implements OT treatment plan and selects appropriate activities.
• Documents evaluations and ongoing sessions per department guidelines.
• Educates patients and families and refers to community resources as appropriate.
• Acts as a resource for staff and families on rehab services.
