Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a qualified Occupational Therapist to assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative services. The role focuses on restoring function in activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, strength, and range of motion across the care continuum.

You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, document care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Active OT license required upon hire.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Implements the occupational therapy treatment plan.
• Collaborates with patient/family to revise goals and plan of care.
• Provides discharge instructions and follow-up resources.
• Documents evaluation and plan of care per departmental guidelines.
• Acts as a referral source for staff and physicians on rehab services.
• Maintains infection prevention and safety practices.
