Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs focused on daily living activities, mobility, cognition, and range of motion. You will work in a Day shift within the Georgia care network, collaborating with physicians and therapy colleagues to optimize patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes detailed documentation, education for patients and families, and discharge planning aligned with departmental standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment goals.
• Develop and adjust plans of care with patient/family input.
• Provide OT services across activities of daily living and mobility.
• Document treatment sessions and progress per guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge home programs.
• Maintain safety and infection prevention in all patient interactions.
