Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Valid state Occupational Therapist license where applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients per clinical guidelines.
• Screen, evaluate, and develop initial and ongoing plans of care.
• Discharge planning and case management responsibilities.
• Supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient goals.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and documentation.
• Develop and enhance OT programs and services.
• Ensure patient rights and infection control policies are followed.
• Keep licensure active and participate in continuing education.
