Job summary

Ojai Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an on-site Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, create and manage treatment plans, and coordinate with the health care team. You will supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and train staff as needed.

The role requires a state license, teamwork, and strong documentation skills. The position offers a supportive work environment with opportunities to educate families and caregivers on safety, home programs, and fall prevention.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in resident care following state practice act.
• Communicate progress, goals, and discharge plans with physicians, nursing staff, residents and families.
• Complete timely documentation in accordance with policies and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and educate residents and families on goals and home programs.
