Job summary

ClearView Healthcare Management is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered OT services in Soddy-Daisy, TN. You will assess, plan, and deliver therapy, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team and ensuring compliant documentation and discharge planning.

You will supervise assistants, participate in case management, and continuously advance therapy programs while maintaining licensure and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Valid state Occupational Therapist license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation.
• Optimize patient functionality by providing, directing, and/or overseeing occupational therapy services, including screening, evaluation, and treatment.
• Comply with state and federal guidelines related to accurate and timely documentation and billing.
• Establish and maintain effective, patient-centered interactions with patients, interdisciplinary team members, and facility staff.
• Refer patients for treatment to occupational therapy assistants and provide consultation and clinical supervision.
• Directly supervise occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Participate in utilization review, care conferences, case management, and interdisciplinary team activities.
• Develop and enhance occupational therapy programs, techniques, and services to support quality outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with environmental safety, infection control, emergency preparedness, and patient rights policies.
• Enhance clinical expertise through continuing education and professional development.
• Maintain valid state licensure.
• Understand and apply relevant payment models and treatment guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational, facility, and patient information.
• Conduct oneself in an ethical, legal, and professional manner at all times.
