Job summary

ClearView Healthcare Management seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant for Collierville Nursing and Rehabilitation. Under supervision of a licensed OT, you’ll support residents’ treatment plans and help them regain independence in daily living activities.

This on-site role involves documenting progress, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, supervising rehab assistants as needed, and adhering to state and federal regulations to deliver quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
• Valid state Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation and Occupational Therapist. Assist in screening and providing input to initial evaluations as appropriate.
• Implement treatment for assigned patients in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Comply with state and federal guidelines regarding accurate and timely documentation and billing.
• Establish and maintain effective patient-centered interactions with patients, interdisciplinary team members, and facility staff.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians during group and individual treatment.
• Participate in utilization review, case management, care conferences, and administrative meetings as directed by the occupational therapist.
• Maintain awareness of changes in patient conditions and programs, and communicate patient progress in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational, facility, and patient information.
• Conduct oneself in an ethical, legal, and professional manner at all times.
