Job summary

Recover-Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic interventions for residents in our skilled nursing facility. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and help them achieve maximum independence within their capabilities.

Responsibilities include documenting patient progress, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, instructing families, and designing home programs.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Proficiency with applicable state and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administers evaluations and writes patient evaluations per department standards.
• Maintains accurate patient records and reports.
• Directs support staff to achieve patients’ functional goals.
• Administers treatment programs to increase functioning.
• Develops individualized therapy for adults with learning disabilities.
• Provides prevention therapy and teaches energy conservation and safety techniques.
• Develops home programs and trains patients/families to carry them out.
