Job summary

Sterling Therapy Providers is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to organize and conduct therapy programs that enhance rehabilitation and daily living skills for residents. Compensation is $55 per hour with options for full-time, part-time, and per diem, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental & vision, life and disability insurance, 401K, holiday pay, PTO, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by the AOTA.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state.
• Registered and/or eligible for certification by the AOTA Certification Board.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents, sets treatment goals and plans, and documents services.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices and trains residents to use them.
• Selects appropriate activities based on resident capacity and interests.
• Collaborates with rehab team to tailor activity programs.
• Instructs residents in skills and techniques for participation and monitors progress.
• Adapts programs to each resident’s needs.
• Attends and contributes to resident care and related meetings.
• Conducts training for staff in OT techniques and objectives.
• Requisitions supplies/equipment as needed.
• Maintains/repairs equipment and reports issues.
• Supervises supportive personnel per standards.
• Ensures high-quality, compassionate care for residents and families.
