Job summary

Methodist Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate PRN Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You'll provide skilled OT services, evaluate patients, and develop individualized treatment plans to promote functional independence.

New graduates are welcome to apply, with opportunities to collaborate with a full interdisciplinary team and to document patient progress and plan discharges in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Current Mississippi OT license or eligibility.

• Clinical experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or outpatient therapy is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled Occupational Therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis, goals, and needs.
• Develop, document, and implement treatment plans to promote outcomes and independence.
• Provide therapy to patients with a wide range of diagnoses and needs.
• Monitor progress and modify plans as appropriate.
• Participate in interdisciplinary patient care-team conferences and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, plans, and progress.
• Schedule and provide PRN in inpatient rehab as needed.
