Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Missouri. The role requires a graduate of an accredited OT program and current OT licensure or eligibility in the hiring state, with BLS certification at minimum.

Applicants with National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy are preferred. Duties include responding to emergency situations and contributing to patient care programs within Mercy’s clinical team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility in the hiring state; may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Overview
Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs in order to achieve maximum potential. Displays treatment skills practicing within the scope of State Practice Act and in compliance with all rules and regulations with National Board and governing bodies in the state of practice. Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and/or coordinating activities in patient care programs.

Hours: Weekdays with weekend rotation

Qualifications
