Job summary

Upper Valley Medical Center, part of Premier Health Partners in Ohio, is seeking an Occupational Therapist (PRN) to join its Acute Care and Inpatient Rehab team. The role delivers comprehensive evaluations and direct patient care across orthopedic, neurological, and other disabling conditions.

You will collaborate with the care team, complete documentation, educate patients and families, and participate in practice activities while maintaining licensure and pursuing CEUs.

Qualifications

• Degree in OT from an accredited OT program.
• Current OT license in Ohio; CEUs for licensure renewal.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and direct patient care with supervision and reporting of progress.
• Perform OT treatment one-to-one or in groups for orthopedic, neurological, and other impairments.
• Complete required documentation and provide patient/family teaching.

Occupational Therapist (PRN)

• PRN: 7:30am – 4pm | 2 weekend Days per Month
• Acute Care & Inpatient Rehab

The Licensed Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment to patients. This individual will provide direct patient care and will monitor and report the patient's progress.

The Occupational Therapist performs occupational therapy treatment on a one-to-one or group basis for patients with orthopedic, neurological, and other physically disabling impairments. Completes required documentation and provides appropriate patient and/or family teaching.

The Occupational Therapist will also participate in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. This position is responsible for maintaining certification and/or licensure, achieving all continuing education requirements, demonstrating excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited OT program

Licensure

Current Occupational Therapy license in State of Ohio. Maintains CEUs for licensure renewal

Certification

BLS Certification required within 30 days if hire

Experience

May be a recent graduate. Prefer a minimum of one-year experience.
