Job summary

Atrium Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist for a PRN position in Inpatient Rehab. The OT will perform evaluations, provide one-to-one or group therapy, and document progress.

The role requires Ohio licensure, BLS within 30 days, and CEUs. Recent graduates welcome; one year of experience preferred. Duties include participating in staff and cost management and delivering excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in occupational therapy from an accredited OT program.
• Licensure: Current occupational therapy license in State of Ohio. Maintains CEUs for licensure renewal.
• Certification: BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Experience: May be a recent graduate with a generalist background. Prefer a minimum of one-year experience.

Occupational Therapist (PRN)

• PRN: 7am - 3:30pm | 2 weekend Days per Month
• Inpatient Rehab

The Licensed Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment to patients. This individual will provide direct patient care and will monitor and report the patient’s progress. The OT performs occupational therapy treatment on a one-to-one or group basis for patients with orthopedic, neurological and other physically disabling impairments. Completes required documentation and provides appropriate patient and/or family teaching.

The OT will also participate in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. This position is responsible for maintaining certification and/or licensure, achieving all continuing education requirements, demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.
