Job summary

AdvisaCare in Michigan is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat clients, create goals of care, and oversee therapy services with compassionate, patient-centered care.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement personalized treatment plans, educate clients and families, and document progress while supporting independence and daily living activities in real-world settings.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Michigan.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the licensed Occupational Therapist
• Conduct occupational exercises and activities with clients, focusing on improving independence, finctional abilities, and quality
• Assess and document clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers, providing support and answering questions
• Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards
