Job summary

Orchard Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis in Fresno, California. You will evaluate residents, develop individualized plans, and help improve daily living skills under physician orders.

CPR certification and CA OT licensure are required. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document progress, educate families, and participate in discharge planning as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current California OT license in good standing.
• CPR certification.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-centered mindset.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop individual treatment plans.
• Provide OT services per physician orders and plans of care.
• Help residents improve daily living skills, mobility, coordination, strength and independence.
• Educate residents, families and caregivers on goals and safety strategies.
