Job summary

PruittHealth Corporation is seeking an Occupational Therapist for PRN coverage in South Carolina. The role supports post-acute care residents with evaluations, treatments, and individualized care plans.

You will document thoroughly and adhere to established OT policies while maintaining high standards of patient care. The position offers opportunities for merit-based growth, relocation support, and access to the PruittHealth Foundation & University resources, emphasizing a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Active OT license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program; NBCOT exam eligibility or pass.
• Strong clinical evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments per the OT care plan.
• Document all records in a timely, accurate manner.
• Follow established policies and procedures within scope of practice.
• Recognize priorities in patient care and respond with sound judgment.
• Complete orientations, trainings, and in-services timely.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized occupational therapy care plan
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner
• Performs other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited school and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exams (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). If foreign-trained, must meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program requirements
