Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy Services team as a PRN clinician in Columbia, SC. You will evaluate, treat, and document patient progress according to policy and the care plan, while delivering compassionate, quality care.

Requirements include an OT license in the state, ACOTE-accredited education, and NBCOT eligibility or certification. The role emphasizes professional growth, merit increases, and support within a dedicated post-acute care environment.

Qualifications

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited school and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exams.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized OT care plan.
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment.
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner.
• Performs other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
