Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy Services team. You will evaluate residents, develop and implement OT care plans, document progress, and collaborate with care teams to support recovery and quality of life.

Requires a valid OT license in the state of practice and NBCOT eligibility; ACOTE-accredited degree. We offer merit increases, relocation opportunities, and access to PruittHealth University resources to advance your career.

Qualifications

• OT license in the state of practice is required.
• Eligible to take NBCOT exams (or passed) if applicable.
• ACOTE-accredited OT program completed.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments per OT care plan.
• Complete documentation and records in a timely and accurate way.
• Follow established policies and procedures related to OT scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care with sound judgment.
• Complete orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and promptly.
• Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized occupational therapy care plan
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner
• Performs other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited school and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exams (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). If foreign-trained, must meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program requirements
