Reid Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist for outpatient services. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and educating patients to restore function and independence.
The OT will collaborate with care teams and coordinate discharge planning within a vibrant hospital system. Ideal candidates hold an OT degree and state licensure, with preference for advanced clinical experience.
Occupational Therapist - Outpatient 5420 Rehab-Adult PT/OT Schedule: Monday - Friday working 8-hour days, varied start/stop times or working 4 10-hour days Monday - Thursday Type additional details specific to position and/or department.
The Occupational Therapist evaluates each patient and provides medically prescribed occupational therapy treatments and education to patients to restore, improve, or maintain the patient’s optimal level of functioning, independence, and quality of life. Occupational Therapy is provided for treatment of physical disability and psychological disorders
Must be fully certified in Indiana to practice as an Occupational Therapist. May work with a Temporary Permit under the stipulated supervision of an OT in accordance with Indiana regulations. Additionally, if assigned to provide services in Ohio, the OT is required to hold a current Ohio license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
