Reid Health in Indiana seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join an outpatient pediatric clinic. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and supervise PTAs in delivering care.
The role emphasizes family education, discharge planning, and collaboration with physicians to promote functional independence. Indiana licensure and BLS are required; Ohio license may be needed for cross-state work.
The Physical Therapist evaluates each patient and provides medically prescribed treatments and education to patients to restore, improve, maintain the patient’s optimal level of functioning, independence, and quality of life. The Physical Therapist also supervises the provision of therapy services delivered by the Physical Therapist Assistants within their department location.
BS, MS, or DPT degree or certification in Physical Therapy from an ACTA accredited educational program. Preference may be given to individuals with advanced clinical skilled experience or expertise.
Must be fully licensed in Indiana to practice as a Physical Therapist. May work with a Temporary Permit under the stipulated supervision of a PT in accordance with Indiana regulations. Additionally, if assigned to provide services in Ohio, the PT is required to hold a current OH license. Basic Life support certification is required.
