Job summary

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital in Bowling Green, KY is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient setting. This full-time role offers a thorough orientation to ensure a smooth transition into our setting and strong opportunities for growth.

You will evaluate patients, develop and modify treatment plans, educate patients and families, and coordinate with physicians to facilitate return to community activities.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility for licensure.
• BLS certification required or completion within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plans as directed by patient needs and physician.
• Directs and delegates therapy services, ensuring functional programs for community reintegration.
• Educates patients, families, students, coworkers and self; performs related professional duties.

• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment is required.
