Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). You will report to an Occupational Therapist and treat patients with complex needs under supervision, ensuring appropriate documentation and ongoing assessment of progress.

As part of a joint venture with Select Medical and Vibra, you will join a large team focused on exceptional patient care, with strong onboarding and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is required.
• BLS certification or completion within first 90 days of employment may be required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment in collaboration with an OT.
• Completing documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in continuing education seminars and in-services.

As a COTA you will be reporting directly to the Occupational Therapist, you will be treating patients with complex needs and challenging diagnoses.

• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions as indicated in collaboration with an OT.
• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required or as required by state regulations.
