Job summary

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital in Bowling Green, KY, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for per diem support in our inpatient rehab program. You will work under an OT, delivering patient therapy and maintaining documentation.

Qualified candidates hold state licensure or eligibility as a COTA and BLS certification. This role offers a $35.00/hour rate and a $3750 sign-on bonus, with opportunities for orientation and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
• BLS certification or completion in first 90 days of employment required or as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions as indicated in collaboration with an OT.
• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
