Job summary

TheraDynamics outpatient clinics in New York are seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat a diverse caseload, including hand therapy and neurological rehabilitation. The role emphasizes evidence-based plans, splint fabrication, and patient education, with dedicated one-on-one time for each client.

Candidates should hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in OT, be NY licensed or eligible, and have NBCOT certification or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive strategies.
• Provide dedicated one-on-one time with each patient.

What You Will Do

You will evaluate and treat outpatient clients across a diverse caseload including upper extremity rehabilitation, hand therapy, neurological conditions, work hardening, and functional capacity evaluations. You will design creative, evidence-based treatment plans, fabricate custom splints when needed, and educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive strategies. You will have dedicated one-on-one time with each patient.
