Job summary

GetHired, Inc. seeks an Occupational Therapist for its outpatient clinics in New York. The role focuses on hand therapy, upper extremity rehab, neurological rehab, and functional capacity evaluations, with dedicated one-on-one patient care.

You will design evidence-based treatment plans, educate patients and families, and work in a supportive team that promotes mentorship and professional development. A NY OT license and NBCOT certification are required or eligible; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current or eligible for New York State OT license.
• NBCOT certification (or eligible).
• Interest in outpatient rehabilitation and diverse caseloads.
• Hand therapy experience a plus but not required.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat outpatient clients across a diverse caseload including upper extremity rehab, hand therapy, and neurological conditions.
• Design evidence-based treatment plans and educate patients and families on home programs.
• Fabricate custom splints when needed and provide dedicated one-on-one time with each patient.
• Collaborate with therapists to deliver best possible outcomes.

What You Will Do

You will have dedicated one-on-one time with each patient.
