Job summary

Sena Kean Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our interdisciplinary therapy team in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. You will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and help restore independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR) license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred (new grads welcome to apply).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve ADLs, mobility, strength, and independence.
• Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and care teams to optimize resident outcomes.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans in compliance with regulations.
• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility guidelines.
