Job summary

Saint Peters Rehab and Healthcare Center in Saint Peters, MO seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) to develop and implement treatment plans that improve patient function through therapeutic activities. You will document progress weekly and participate in case conferences to ensure coordinated care.

Responsibilities include supervising self-care activities, educating patients and families, maintaining treatment areas, and ensuring NBCOT certification and state licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Occupational Therapist (OT) with current licensure.
• NBCOT certification and state licensure valid where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care plans for patients
• Document patient's weekly progress in appropriate records
• Maintain the office treatment areas, equipment, and supply inventory
• Instruct patients, their families and any other caregivers in skills and techniques of the patient's treatment program
• Maintain valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and a valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable).
