Job summary

Stpetersrehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to deliver therapeutic and self-care activities to improve patient function. The role includes documenting progress, coordinating care in team meetings, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Candidates must be registered OTs with NBCOT certification and a valid state license where applicable. Competitive pay is offered and shifts can be full-time or part-time based on experience and department needs.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients by using therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function.
• Monitor a patient's activities to ensure correct performance and provide encouragement.
• Contribute to meetings and case conferences to coordinate care plans.
• Document patient’s weekly progress in records.
• Maintain the office treatment areas, equipment, and supply inventory.
• Instruct patients, families and caregivers in treatment skills and techniques.
• Maintain NBCOT certification and state OT license where applicable.

Occupational Therapist (OTR) Shift: FT/ PT

Responsibilities

• Treat patients by using therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function
• Monitor a patient's activities to make sure they are performing them correctly and to offer encouragement
• Contribute to meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care plans for patients
• Document patient’s weekly progress in appropriate records
• Maintain the office treatment areas, equipment, and supply inventory
• Instruct patients, their families and any other caregivers in skills and techniques of the patient's treatment program
• Maintain valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and a valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable).
