HealthPro Heritage in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) for our senior living setting. You will help residents in Independent Living and Memory Care, with opportunities to float between Elmhurst and Lombard locations.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to lift and assist patients and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Create personalized treatment plans and educate clients and their families on activities and adaptations.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.
• Advocate for clients' needs and connect them to community resources and services.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
