Valley Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Castro Valley, CA seeks an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. The OT will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and help patients regain independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Current California OT license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Provide skilled therapy interventions focused on functional independence and quality of life
• Help residents improve activities of daily living, mobility, coordination, and safety
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate residents and families on adaptive strategies, safety techniques, and home programs
• Document treatment sessions and resident progress accurately and efficiently
