Sigma Health Rehab is actively seeking a weekend Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our skilled nursing facility team in Cooperstown, NY. This per diem role offers flexible weekend hours and the chance to contribute to resident rehabilitation in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited OT program with a current New York State OT license. You will evaluate residents, develop rehab plans, provide hands-on therapy, and supervise therapy assistants as part of a

• Evaluate residents’ conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort.

Duties of an exceptional therapist include:
