Sigma Health Rehab in Cooperstown, NY is seeking a Weekend Physical Therapist to join our team of skilled therapists in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

You'll evaluate residents, design rehab plans, relieve pain with exercises and hands-on therapy, and supervise assistants while maintaining confidentiality and complying with regulations. Flexible weekend hours and strong mentorship are offered to support your growth.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate residents' conditions and develop rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents' pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Assist residents with tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and protect facility information.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Foster a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members.

Duties of an exceptional therapist include:

• Evaluate residents conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans

• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching

• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance

• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants

• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential

• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements

• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort

PT Requirements Include:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Current New York State PT License
