Centerpoint Health-Versailles is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide rehab services to patients aiming to develop, recover and maintain skills. This PRN role supports our therapy team in delivering compassionate, high-quality care in Versailles, KY.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain occupational skills.
• Assesses patient's ability to safely and effectively perform occupational skills.
• Designs the plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.
• Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
• Documents patient progress and adjusts plan of care as needed.
• Educates patient and family about deficits and care options.
• Plans and assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
• Provides guidance on adaptive equipment and support programs.
• Supervises and delegates to assistants according to licensing laws.

How You'll Contribute

• Provides occupational therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain occupational skills.
• Assesses patient's ability to safely and effectively perform occupational skills.
• Designs the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.
• Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
• Documents subjective and objective findings of patient progress. Monitors and modifies the plan of care as needed. Seeks consultation as necessary.
• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
• Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.
• Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
• Supervises and delegates the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a bachelors degree in occupational therapy (required). Additional requirements include:

• License: KY State Licensure for Occupational Therapy
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
