Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an Occupational Therapist at Mission Hospital on a PRN basis to support patient recovery. You will evaluate, plan, and implement therapy programs tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.

You will document progress, collaborate with the care team, and ensure safety and compliance across all settings. This role emphasizes compassionate care and professional growth within a nationwide health system.

Qualifications

• Must have degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a specialized treatment plan to help patients regain well-being through exercise and/or prosthetic/orthotic devices.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and the team; instruct family or nursing staff in follow-up programs.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance, and applicable laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

How You'll Contribute

An Occupational Therapist (OT) who excels in this role:

• Develop a specialized treatment plan to help him/her achieve as much as possible in regaining his/her well-being through exercise and/or use of prosthetic and orthotic devices. You and your staff will play an important role in his/her recovery
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program. Additional requirements include:

• Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered
• Current CPR certification
• Strong organizational and communication skills
