Job summary

Sandstone Estates in Tucson, AZ is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our interdisciplinary care team in a skilled nursing setting. You will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and help restore daily living activities and mobility.

The role offers flexible scheduling with either full-time or part-time opportunities. A valid AZ OT license and NBCOT certification are required, along with strong communication and teamwork to support resident-centered

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Active Arizona OT license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills, mobility, and independence.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and therapy team members.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans in accordance with regulations.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
