Job summary

Sandstone Estates in Tucson, AZ is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our interdisciplinary care team. This PRN position offers 15 hours per week in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting.

You will implement treatment plans, provide interventions to improve daily living skills, and document progress while collaborating with the therapy team and nursing staff. A valid AZ COTA license and NBCOT certification are required, with experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• NBCOT certification completed and current.
• Active Arizona COTA license.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to help residents improve daily living skills and functional mobility.
• Document treatment sessions and resident progress in accordance with regulations.
• Collaborate with the therapy team, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment as directed.

Position Details:

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available
• Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care setting
