Job summary

Nealy Pierce is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist focused on pediatric patients, with emphasis on developmental delays and autism. The role centers on patient education and caregiver involvement to help families understand treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Open to New Grads and Experienced Therapists.
• Pediatric-experienced OTs preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented but also able to see the big picture.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OT services to pediatric patients, including assessment and treatment planning.
• Educate patients and families about injuries, conditions, and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support developmental delays and autism.

About the Position

Our ideal candidate will possess the heart of a servant leader who truly cares about patient care. We are not looking for an individual who is just looking for their next "job" but someone who wants to invest in a career to help patients understand what has happened to their bodies through their injury/condition. Education of the patient and the patient's family is the number one priority in helping them realize how their body will react to treatment and where they will go once they leave the hospital. Work with patients primarily with Developmental Delays and Autism. Each outpatient appointment varies from 45 minutes to 1 hour based on specific patients' needs.
