Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP in Pearland, TX seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate children, create tailored treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy within physician-approved Plans of Care. You will address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

• Requires OT degree from an accredited program and Texas OT license.
• New graduates encouraged to apply; pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus; supervising COTAs is a plus if available.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based OT services per physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, ROM, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavior, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor progress and modify plans as needed; educate families on techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care; complete accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license by anticipated start date
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• Previous experience supervising COTAs is preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services in accordance with physician-approved Plans of Care
• Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Pay:

$60.00-$70.00 per hour
