MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver one-on-one therapy in children’s home, daycare, and school settings. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, professional growth, and collaboration with a supportive clinical team to achieve measurable patient outcomes.

The position offers part-time, full-time, and PRN options with a sign-on bonus and a focus on pediatric care within Greater Houston and surrounding areas.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Texas OT license by anticipated start date.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Previous experience supervising COTAs is preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services in accordance with physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, ROM, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications and Responsibilities:
