Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat pediatric patients in the greater Houston area. You will perform comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.

The role requires a Texas OT license by start date; new graduates are welcome. Pediatric experience is preferred but not required, and bilingual Spanish is a plus. You will work with a supportive team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services per physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address fine motor, sensory processing, coordination, strength, ROM, self-care, visual-motor integration and ADLs.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Pay

$60.00–$70.00 per hour
