Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Part Time Occupational Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will evaluate residents, develop rehab plans, and provide hands-on therapy to improve functional outcomes.

We offer mentorship for new grads, weekly paychecks, career growth opportunities, and evening/weekend hours in a state-of-the-art rehab environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current New York State OT License.
• Open to new grads with mentorship available.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve resident's pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
