Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Brooklyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Brooklyn, New York. You will provide high-quality rehabilitation services to residents, evaluate conditions, and develop individualized therapy plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
• Current New York State OT License

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program

Current New York State OT License
