Sigma Health Rehab is excited to offer a Part Time Occupational Therapy (OT) position at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY. Join our team of therapists dedicated to helping residents regain independence in a state-of-the-art rehab gym.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
• Current New York State OT License

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort
