Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services, LLC is hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Lincoln, NE. The role focuses on planning, organizing, developing, and directing Occupational Therapy Services in accordance with standards to ensure high-quality resident care.

You will screen residents, evaluate and set goals, communicate findings to families and the interdisciplinary team, schedule therapy, document care and billing, and supervise a COTA while maintaining

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s).
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine the best intervention or treatment for each patient.
• Evaluate residents and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members.
• Conduct therapy according to the treatment plan and ensure documentation and billing of OT services.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients; oversee COTA as needed and ensure compliant documentation and reimbursement practices.

Job Position: Occupational Therapist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type: Full Time

Job Purpose: To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Job Functions

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed

Education & Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have an Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s)
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
