Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility to plan, organize, and direct OT services, ensuring the highest quality resident care in line with current standards and regulations.

You will screen residents, develop treatment plans with clear goals, communicate findings to residents and families, coordinate schedules with the care team, document sessions, and oversee COTA delivery to maintain clinical excellence and

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active license to practice occupational therapy in the state(s).
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine best intervention or treatment plan.
• Evaluate residents and develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members.
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
• Oversee COTA and ensure documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices.

Job Position: Occupational Therapist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type: Part Time

Job Purpose: To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Job Functions:

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed

Education & Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have an Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s)
