Adoration Health seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Home Health team in Woodbury, TN as a PRN role. You will provide 1:1, patient-centered OT services in home settings, focusing on independence and functional outcomes.

Requires CAPTE-approved OT education, state licensure, and CPR. Experience in home health and strong communication skills are preferred to coordinate with families and physicians.

Qualifications

• OT degree from CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current OT licensure in the state.
• CPR certification required; may be provided upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform OT evaluation and treatment per physician orders, including adaptive equipment.
• Set measurable goals and develop treatment plans toward independence.
• Maintain communication with treatment team, physician, patient, and family.
• Ensure thorough documentation for accurate billing.
• Supervise OTAs in direct patient care as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluation and treatment of patients based upon physician orders, including recommendation and procurement of adaptive equipment
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to move patients toward their maximum level of independence and/or function
• Maintain communication among the treatment team, physician, patient, and family members as applicable
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services provided to ensure proper billing
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Education program approved by CAPTE
• Current Occupational Therapist licensure in State and American Heart Association CPR certification required; CPR certification may be offered and completed upon hire
• Two (2) years of experience in adult occupational therapy, home health experience preferred
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; physical therapy skills per competency checklist
