Occupational Therapist PRN

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop care plans based on assessment findings.
• Implement and update the Plan of Care, ensuring quality and continuity.
• Communicate significant findings to the team and physicians.
• Ensure patient safety and utilize community resources.
• Follow physician’s orders and document care appropriately.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise and direct therapy assistants and clinical staff.
• Provide patient and family education on therapy and home programs.
• Maintain physical demands, including lifting and transferring patients.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license for the state of practice.
• At least one year of clinical experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the service area.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs and perform physical activities required for the role.
