Heights Care and Rehab in Denver, CO is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and help improve ADLs for greater independence.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid at 60, 120, 180, and 360 days, plus competitive pay of $50–$60 per hour. Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN options are available with a supportive, interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in Colorado.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for helping older adults maximize independence and quality of life.
• New graduates welcome; SNF experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Help residents improve abilities to perform ADLs.
• Address deficits related to strength, coordination, cognition, safety awareness, and functional independence.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assist with discharge planning and safe transitions home.
• Educate residents and caregivers on techniques that improve safety and independence.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary discussions.

What You'll Do
