Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS is seeking a day shift, full-time Outpatient Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients, plan care, and deliver prescribed therapy in accordance with AOTA standards.

You will supervise clinical support staff, promote OT services across the organization, and contribute to ongoing professional development. A KS OT license and a degree in OT are required, with advanced degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in State of Kansas.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Experience in medical or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs occupational therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and delivers prescribed therapy to assigned patients in accordance with AOTA standards and state regulations.
• Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.

Responsibilities

Performs occupational therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the occupational therapy practice act in the State of Kansas. Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff. Promotes occupational therapy services and professional development. throughout the organization and community. Reports to the assigned leader of department .

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
