Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Topeka, KS seeks a day shift, full-time Occupational Therapist to join the Lymphedema team at the University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus.

The role focuses on OT evaluations, care planning, and delivering prescribed therapies in accordance with AOTA standards. Active KS OT license and BLS within 14 days required; Master’s/Doctorate preferred; outpatient setting experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy is required.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in Kansas.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Prior medical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Performs occupational therapy evaluations and establishes plans of care.
• Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promotes occupational therapy services and professional development across the organization.
• Reports to the assigned leader of department.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (preferred)

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy
• Active Occupational Therapy license in State of Kansas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Previous medical setting or rehabilitation setting experience.
• Experience with computer applications including Microsoft Office.
